HEY FRIENDS!

So, I was gone at my guy's place for a week and we went to the Marvel marathon that lead up to the premiere of "The Avengers."  Fourteen hours of action and things being blown up left to the right with my boyfriend = the best day ever.  
Confession time, I had never seen ANY of the Marvel movies until that day/night.  So getting to see all of them (Iron Man, The Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America and then The Avengers) was so great.  You'd think someone that enjoys action films and making fun of the romantic scenes would have seen them all already but nope, I hadn't.

For those that didn't go to see The Avengers, you should stop reading this, get in your car and buy a ticket for the next possible show because it was amazing.

As the title suggests, I also want to talk about "Money Pit" which is my boyfriend's self published science fiction adventure novel.  Though slightly biased (and really only slightly), it really is such a cool story.  What started out as a short 5 page story turned into a full 164 page book.  My boyfriend has been writing essentially his entire life so I couldn't be any more proud and excited for him.
He also had me illustrate the cover for it, which I'm excited about too.  But it's really well written and I loved it from the start so I bet you all will too!
